Tummy Tuck

Restore a toned midsection after pregnancy or weight loss.

Tummy Tuck

Duration: 3–4 hours — general anaesthesia

Stay: 1–2 nights in hospital

Back to work: 3 weeks

Before surgery

We examine skin and muscle tone, take photos and measurements, and agree on the incision location. In the lead-up month we recommend core-strengthening and weight stability.

The day of surgery

Excess skin is removed, separated abdominal muscles are repaired with internal sutures, and the navel is repositioned. Flank liposuction is often added in the same operation.

After surgery

Drain is removed within a week. Compression garment worn for 6 weeks. All follow-ups and drainage massage sessions are included.

Recovery plan

  1. 1
Days 1–3: hospital + home rest

Full rest with a small drain. Gentle movement within 24 hours.

  2. 2
    Weeks 1–2: gradual walking

Drain removed. Walking at home and practising upright posture.

  3. 3
Weeks 3–6: back to desk work

Return to office work around week 3. Compression garment still worn.

  4. 4
    Months 3–12: scar matures

The scar lightens to a thin line over 6–12 months.

  5. العودة للحياة الطبيعية / Back to routine
